Digi Power X Inc. announced the launch of the next phase of US Data Centers, Inc. (USDC), an independent AI infrastructure platform dedicated to developing, manufacturing, and globally deploying modular Tier III AI data centers. This new phase was co-founded with Hans Vestberg, former Chairman and CEO of Verizon Communications, who will serve as Co-Founder and Senior Advisor to USDC.
USDC will lead the manufacturing and deployment of its proprietary ARMS™ (AI-Ready Modular Solution) platform, designed for rapid deployment of high-density AI computing infrastructure. The ARMS platform aims to address the challenge of traditional data center construction's inability to keep pace with accelerating AI compute demand, allowing for commissioning in a fraction of the time conventional facilities require. Each ARMS unit is a self-contained, Tier III-certified modular data center supporting advanced GPU clusters for large-scale AI workloads.
Digi Power X will maintain a majority equity stake in USDC while focusing on its core business of developing and operating energy-efficient digital infrastructure assets, including power generation and high-performance compute facilities. According to Michel Amar, Chairman and CEO of Digi Power X, this structure positions both companies to capture growth across different sectors of the rapidly expanding AI infrastructure value chain. USDC's goal is to generate revenue through various channels, including direct infrastructure manufacturing and deployment for enterprise and sovereign customers, as well as hyperscalers and cloud service providers.
