Data center zoning ordinance to come for Damascus

The Damascus Township Board of Supervisors continued discussions on a proposed data center ordinance. The ordinance will be available for public review by September 13, and a public hearing is set to be scheduled at the September 21 supervisors' meeting.

At the August 17 meeting, the Damascus Township Board of Supervisors continued discussions regarding a proposed data center ordinance for the Township. Correspondence from Wayne County has been received, and the township planning commission has largely completed its work on the ordinance.

The proposed ordinance will be made available for public review by September 13, with a public hearing to be scheduled during the September 21 supervisors' meeting.
