North Berwick voters will decide whether to amend the town’s zoning ordinance to prohibit data center developments larger than 25,000 square feet. If the amendment fails, the ordinance will not define data centers and developments of any size will remain allowed.

North Berwick voters are being asked to approve an amendment to the town’s zoning ordinance that would define data centers and prohibit proposals or developments exceeding 25,000 square feet.
If voters reject the amendment, the town’s zoning ordinance will not include a data center definition, and data center projects of any size will continue to be permitted.
