Montour County soil scientists urge citizens to be involved on data center discussions

Montour County residents Bill and Sharon Waltman, both soil scientists, are actively engaging their community in discussions about the impacts of data centers. Their efforts stem from their research into the effects of such facilities during Talen Energy's unsuccessful bid to construct a data center near their 44-acre farm. The Waltmans recently addressed residents at the East Buffalo Township Building in Lewisburg, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in municipal discussions.
