Ohio Data Center Amendment Vote Delayed Until 2027

WARREN, Ohio – Ohio voters will not decide a proposed constitutional amendment restricting large data centers this November after organizers missed the deadline to qualify for the 2026 ballot. The campaign, Conserve Ohio, said it will continue collecting signatures with the goal of placing the measure before voters in 2027. Plus, the Respite of Hope program, a partnership between Catholic Charities Regional Agency and Meridian HealthCare, provides temporary housing, medical care and support services for homeless patients leaving local hospitals. And East Liverpool city officials and volunteers are preparing for America’s 250th anniversary with a July 11 event that includes the unveiling of a monument honoring 152 Revolutionary War veterans buried in Columbiana County.
