The Culpeper County Sheriff's Office is investigating three overnight burglaries at a data center construction site along Germanna Highway. The thefts included copper piping valued at more than $200,000 and numerous power tools, with investigators believing the suspects used large vehicles to transport the materials.
Surveillance footage captured two masked men during the second and third break-ins, which occurred days apart. Sheriff Timothy Chilton said the repeated incidents indicate the suspects were familiar with the property and its access points, and authorities are seeking information from anyone who recognizes them or has been offered copper or power tools at suspiciously low prices.
