The Culpeper County Sheriff's Office is investigating three break-ins at a data center construction site along the Germanna Highway corridor. More than $200,000 in copper piping and power tools were stolen, and investigators are seeking information about two masked men seen in surveillance footage.
The Culpeper County Sheriff's Office is searching for two masked men suspected of carrying out three overnight burglaries at a data center construction site in Culpeper County, Virginia. The thefts occurred between late September and late October along the Germanna Highway corridor and involved approximately $200,000 in copper piping as well as power tools.
Sheriff Timothy Chilton said investigators believe the same suspects returned to the site three times and used a large vehicle or multiple vehicles to remove the materials. Authorities have not identified the men and are asking residents and businesses with information about the suspects or unusually low-priced copper and tools to contact Detective Millson.
