Data center moratorium approved in Lovells Township

The Lovells Township Planning Commission in Crawford County, Michigan, has approved a nine-month moratorium on data center development, as confirmed by Vice Chair Nancy Simonelli. The commission voted on July 13 to forward the proposed moratorium to the Lovells Township Board for consideration.

Lovells Township Supervisor Richard Wright also confirmed the development with the Crawford County Avalanche. The moratorium's implementation is now pending final approval from Crawford County.
