Country music star Brad Paisley has vocally condemned the project, labeling it an "absolute nightmare scenario" in an Instagram reel. He urged his fans to sign a petition, which has since amassed nearly 300,000 signatures.
Paisley's objections mirror those of the Nashville Zoo and local residents, focusing on the site's insufficient power and water infrastructure, the facility's large size, and its potential negative visual and environmental impact on the popular zoo and surrounding area. The Nashville Zoo spokesperson stated that the institution is "vehemently opposed" to the development. Jeremy Dreiling submitted the permit application for the data center, which also includes plans to demolish two existing buildings at the location.
