Gov: Kline Township Board of Supervisors, Kline Township Planning Commission

The Kline Township Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Amazon's proposed data center campus near Route 309 and Interstate 81 after a months-long review. The decision followed the Kline Township Planning Commission's unanimous recommendation two days earlier, with conditions based on multiple engineering reviews and a public comment session.

Some township residents, including Debbie Moscovitch, criticized the board for not sufficiently addressing concerns about the project's potential effects on residents. Supervisor Gary Perna Jr. said the supervisors relied on information from hired experts and those presenting the project. Although the proposal was approved, Amazon must still complete zoning and pre-construction processes with the township and the state before construction can begin.
