Misusawa, a retired major general, spoke at River Mill Bar and Grill, addressing topics including artificial intelligence (AI) and data centers, acknowledging their controversial nature.
Misusawa expressed strong support for local communities opposing data center developments. He stated, "I'm going to support every local community who does not want a data center in the midst." He also agreed with former President Trump on the importance of AI development for national security, emphasizing the need for the U.S. to keep pace with adversaries like China.
Meanwhile, Senator Warner also weighed in on data centers and AI, recognizing both their potential benefits and inherent downsides.
