PENSACOLA Fla. -- The debate over data centers is growing, and local governments are taking steps to regulate the development before any are even built.
Cheers rang out as Pensacola City Council passed a temporary one-year ban on large-scale data centers.
"I feel like a moratorium is the right step to take," Pensacola City Council Member Charles Bare said.
