
Stafford County Hires Tom Ellsworth as Planning and Zoning Director
Stafford County, Virginia, has announced the hiring of Thomas "Tom" Ellsworth as its new Planning and Zoning Director. Ellsworth, who previously served in Maricopa County, Arizona, brings over 25 years of experience in development review and zoning policy. In his new role, he will oversee development review, long-range planning, zoning, land conservation, and data centers for Stafford County.

His responsibilities in Stafford will include overseeing development review, the Planning Commission, long-range planning, zoning, land conservation, and data centers. County Administrator Bill Ashton noted Ellsworth's ability to contribute immediately.
