Cincinnati’s Department of City Planning and Engagement is holding a public meeting to gather feedback on zoning rules for data centers. The session will include an informational presentation, public questions and answers, and a later summary document addressing comments and unanswered questions.

Council member Mark Jeffreys said the city’s existing zoning code has not kept pace with the rapid growth of data centers. He said officials want to account for both data centers that could occupy office buildings and larger facilities that could be built on substantial acreage, with public input potentially shaping future code amendments.
