A construction worker, 33-year-old Christopher Lawe of Oklahoma, died Monday evening after being struck by a pickup truck at the Meta data center construction site in Lebanon, Indiana. Emergency services were called to the site along County Road 400 West and State Road 32 around 5:43 p.m. where medical personnel initiated life-saving measures, but Lawe was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Lebanon Police Department is leading the investigation into the fatal accident. A spokesperson for Meta issued a statement to News 8, expressing deep sadness over the worker's death and extending thoughts to his family, friends, and coworkers.
