Most Tampa Bay congressional candidates oppose DeSoto data center proposal

Most congressional candidates representing the Tampa Bay area have voiced opposition to a proposed data center in DeSoto. The Republican front-runner for District 16, Sydney Gruters, has not yet publicly stated her position on whether the project should be approved.
