Salem data center was designed to use as much as 3 million gallons a day

Water usage projections shared with the city of Salem by a Portland-based engineering firm showed the data center proposed for the Mill Creek Corporate Center by a Google-funded company called Verrus could use as much as 3.1 million gallons of water per day.
