The Hermantown City Council is scheduled to meet Friday to discuss six resolutions concerning Google’s proposed data center. The meeting is being held for the third time after a previous session was canceled when Police Chief Jim Crace deemed the gathering an unlawful assembly.

Attendance will be capped at 85 people inside City Hall, with additional viewers able to participate virtually, although only those attending in person may speak during public comment. The Stop the Hermantown Data Center group continues to oppose the project and has urged demonstrators to gather in a designated pedestrian area outside City Hall.
