The results showed that nearly 80% of participants were against the idea. Specifically, 49.20% (93 votes) cited "too many unknowns about the impact" as their reason for opposition, while an additional 31.21% (59 votes) simply stated "do not build one in Columbia County."

Conversely, only 14.28% (27 votes) supported the center for job creation and financial investment, and 5.29% (10 votes) gave a general "yes."
