Hundreds speak out as Joliet considers largest data center in state

Hundreds of Joliet, Illinois residents spoke out at a city council meeting as the city considers approving the largest data center in the state, to be built by Compass Datacenters. The project would create many construction jobs but fewer permanent positions, and would require significant water and electricity usage.
