After prior rejection, AZ developer gets green light for Casa Grande mixed-use center

Arizona Land Consulting, a prominent local landowner, secured approval from the Casa Grande City Council for a mixed-use development on a 273-acre site located at the northwest corner of Interstate 10 and Florence Boulevard. This approval, granted during an April 6 meeting, came after the developer tweaked initial rezoning requests to specifically clarify that the site would not be utilized for a major residential development or a data center. The land was rezoned from urban ranch to planned area development (PAD). The approved zoning now permits a combination of commercial and light industrial uses, with the vision of creating "an attractive, modern business center with high visibility alongside I-10." This decision follows a prior rejection, indicating a successful adjustment by Arizona Land Consulting to address previous concerns.
