Anderson County council approves final reading of six-month data center moratorium

Anderson County Council has enacted a temporary six-month moratorium on data center development within the county. The Council passed the third reading of the ordinance on Tuesday night, a decision confirmed by the Anderson County administrator.

The measure is now in effect, pausing all data center approvals in Anderson County for the next six months.
