Google Proposes Major Expansion of Fort Wayne Data Center Campus

Google has proposed a significant expansion of its data center campus in southeast Fort Wayne, Indiana. The project, known as Project Zodiac Phase 3, would add three new data center buildings and supporting infrastructure on an 858-acre site. The expansion would grow Google's existing operations in the area. The proposed construction is currently under review by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) as part of the environmental permitting process. IDEM is accepting public comments on the project through April 3 to determine whether the plans meet state environmental requirements before any work can move forward.
