Tucker County Commission Debate to Address Proposed Data Center

Country Roads News announced it will host a debate on Saturday, October 17, at 5 p.m. at the Tucker County Senior Center in Parsons, West Virginia. The event will feature candidates Mike Rosenau, the incumbent and commission president, and Jon Bush, a former commissioner, who are vying for a seat on the Tucker County Commission.
The debate will be moderated by Mat Cloak and will allow the candidates to explain their positions on critical issues facing Tucker County. Among the most important topics to be discussed are a proposed power plant and data center, Corridor H, and funding for EMS services.
Rosenau, who previously registered as a Democrat, is running as an independent, while Bush is running as a Republican. The two candidates previously ran for the same seat in 2020, with Rosenau winning by just two votes. The upcoming election is scheduled for November 3, and the public is invited to submit questions for the candidates.
