Data Center Planned For Corner Of Busse & Landmeier

Virginia-based data center operator EdgeConneX plans to build a new data center on the former site of the Regent O'Hare Business Center in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The company recently purchased the buildings at the northeast corner of Busse and Landmeier Roads for $37 million, and has already begun demolition work on the site. The new EdgeConneX facility will be located between two other major data center projects in the area - a 263,000 sq ft data center being developed by Stack Infrastructure on the former Fortune Commons office park, and a massive multi-building data center complex from Stream that is expected to exceed 2 million sq ft when complete. Local officials confirmed EdgeConneX's plans for the site, which is highly visible and situated between the other two upcoming data center developments.
