The City of Wisconsin Rapids Planning Commission is set to host a public hearing concerning an application from DC Rapids LLC. The company is seeking a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to build a data center at 950 Fourth Ave. N. The public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center within Lincoln High School.

During the hearing, the Planning Commission will deliberate on the CUP application and issue a recommendation to the Common Council. Residents who wish to speak are required to register, and comments will be limited to three minutes. Written comments can also be submitted to the Community Development Department prior to the hearing.

In addition to the CUP, the Planning Commission will review a site plan request for the project, which does not necessitate a separate public hearing. Further details on the project, including the City’s data center ordinance and permit review process, are available on the Papermill Redevelopment webpage.
