SEDCOR chose Verrus over multiple companies eyeing Salem for data center buildouts

Verrus, the Silicon Valley company planning to build a data center in Salem’s Mill Creek Corporate Center, was hand picked by SEDCOR, the city’s contracted independent economic development agency. The agency told Salem Reporter that despite never having built a data center, it chose to move forward with Verrus over other prospective companies because of its more sustainable approach.
