Area residents gathered at a Ramada in Fargo for a public forum hosted by Health Freedom North Dakota, focusing on the potential impacts of data centers. The event addressed key concerns including water consumption, electrical usage, and policymaking related to data center development.

Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and express their concerns to two environmental hygienists who presented at the forum. Alexis Wangler, president of Health Freedom North Dakota, stated that the organization's goal was for participants to learn new facts and form informed opinions on whether data centers are beneficial for North Dakota, given the state's vested interest in them.

Health Freedom North Dakota has scheduled two additional events in Wishek and Mandan to continue the discussion.
