Nvidia reportedly considers $3 billion investment in Ohio data center for OpenAI

Japanese stock markets saw gains, particularly in chip and AI-related shares such as Kioxia Holdings and Tokyo Electron, despite rising JGB yields. Amidst this, reports emerged that Nvidia is considering an investment of up to $3 billion in SB Energy, a subsidiary of SoftBank Group.

This substantial investment would be directed towards a significant data center project in Ohio, which SB Energy is developing to serve artificial intelligence firm OpenAI.
