Town hall to address K.I. Sawyer military and data center proposals
Forsyth Township is holding a town hall meeting to gather public feedback on two major proposals for K.I. Sawyer: bringing the military back and potentially adding an AI data center. County leaders and West Branch Township representatives will be present to answer questions from the community. The public is invited to speak up and share their concerns.
Forsyth Township officials have scheduled a town hall meeting for August 19 to discuss the future of the K.I. Sawyer area. The meeting aims to solicit public feedback on two significant proposals: a plan to reintroduce a military presence to the former base and the potential development of an artificial intelligence data center.
Leaders from Forsyth Township, along with representatives from county government and West Branch Township, will attend the meeting at the K.I. Sawyer school gym. Road commissioners are also expected to be present to address community questions.
The town hall provides an opportunity for the public to voice concerns and offer input on these proposed developments, which could significantly impact the region.
