QTS and Lancium agreement to fund Turkey roads, utilities and water tower work to 2032
QTS and Lancium reached an agreement to provide up to $15.5 million for infrastructure improvements in Turkey, Texas, where they are planning a data center development. Funding will support roads, utilities, drainage, a replacement water tower and sewer upgrades through 2032.
QTS and Lancium have agreed to provide up to $15.5 million to Turkey, Texas, in connection with a planned data center development in Hall County. The deal includes $10.5 million in payments through 2032 and up to $5 million for roads, utilities, drainage and other infrastructure projects, along with a separate contribution toward replacing the city’s aging water tower and improving its sewer system.
Turkey City Manager Linnette Finley said the city’s infrastructure is already strained and has limited capacity for additional connections. Lancium executive Ryan Kuithe said the agreement is part of a broader commitment to water infrastructure in Texas, including a previously announced $250 million investment over the next decade, although no specific timeline has been set for all of the local upgrades.
