Gregg Township supervisors unanimously approved conditional use for a proposed PNK data center at Great Stream Commons near Allenwood. The project would convert part of an existing warehouse, and the approval contains 31 conditions covering noise, water usage, emergency response and environmental protections.

Residents strongly opposed the project, citing concerns about health, property values and the future of the rural community. PNK has offered to fund a $1.5 million fire truck, workforce training and about $1 million in annual township payments once the facility is operational, but additional permits and land development approval remain necessary.
