Among the permits, Legacy Investing secured approval for a $1.42 million elevator modernization project at its ongoing data center located at 400 South La Salle Street in the city's Loop neighborhood. The plans specify a 10,000-pound capacity freight elevator spanning eight floors, with Kone Elevator Company serving as the contractor for the modernization. This was one of many permits, including a $37.5 million adaptive reuse addition in Lakeview by Brinshore Development and an $8 million renovation of Logan Vistas Apartments by Hispanic Housing Development Corporation in Logan Square, highlighting diverse real estate activity throughout Chicago.
