A Kansas-based data center developer, QTS, is reportedly planning a new data center campus in Salem Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. According to property records filed this month, QTS purchased dozens of land parcels spanning approximately 1,700 acres in the township for over $500 million.
The acquired land is located west of Talent Energy's power plant and an area where Amazon also purchased land late last year.
