A community forum is scheduled for April 27 in Warren Township, Indianapolis, to discuss a proposed $2 billion data center campus by Georgia-based developer DC Blox. The facility is planned for the former Ford plant site, now the Thunderbird Commerce Center, near South Kitley Avenue and the Pennsy Trail.
City-County Councilor Andy Nielsen will host the forum at Downey Avenue Christian Church, providing residents an opportunity to hear from DC Blox representatives, ask questions, and understand the project's next steps. Residents are encouraged to register and submit questions online by April 22, and the event will be livestreamed.
Following the community forum, a public hearing for the data center proposal is set for May 14 at the City-County Building, where further public input and governmental consideration will take place.
