The City of Farmington will host an informational presentation on data centers from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 21, 2026, at the Farmington Civic Center. City Manager Shaña Reeves will lead the session, with the mayor and City Council members expected to attend.

The meeting is not tied to a formal development proposal, although it responds to community interest and regional activity, including inquiries associated with Project Jupiter. City staff will discuss data center infrastructure, water use, power demand, noise, zoning, environmental standards and municipal review processes. Residents can submit questions in advance and complete a feedback survey, with responses expected to inform a possible formal city resolution on data center policy.
