Board of Appeals approves proposed data center in Hammond

The Hammond Board of Appeals recently approved a permit for Metered North to construct a data center on a two-acre site. This decision, reached by a 4-1 vote, revives a project that the Hammond Village Board had previously denied. The proposed data center will be located on property owned by St. Croix Electric, near Guy Metals and the U.S. Army Reserve.
