Construction is already underway on a second adjacent Microsoft facility in Mount Pleasant, projected for completion by 2028. This expansion is expected to boost the total full-time workforce in the area to approximately 800. Microsoft estimates its total investment in Wisconsin for construction, services, and machinery
—including purchases from local electrical equipment manufacturers
—will reach around $4.7 billion between 2024 and 2028.
