Residents in Conewago Township got their first look Thursday night at proposed rules that could shape the future of data center development in the York County community.
The township’s Board of Supervisors presented the first draft of a data center ordinance after months of discussion and about six months of work by township officials and legal counsel.
After waiting nearly a year for guidance on where and how data centers could be built, some residents said they expected more restrictions and more community input before seeing the draft.
