Crusoe, an AI factory company, celebrated the grand opening of its second 400,000-square-foot AI facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday morning. Dignitaries present included Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols, County Commissioner Stan Ci, multiple members of the Tulsa Regional Chamber, and Governor Kevin Stitt.

The new facility, located off Highway 69 near 36th Street, directly across from Amazon, is Cruso's second manufacturing plant in the city, following an earlier opening in 2024. The company now employs 300 skilled craft workers, 100 more than initially projected, to construct low-voltage switchboards that transfer power from substations directly to GPUs. Governor Kevin Stitt highlighted the multi-million dollar investment and its economic benefits, while Mayor Monroe Nichols acknowledged the existing controversy surrounding data centers, emphasizing the need to participate in this "wave of the future" to create prosperity while addressing important questions about use, responsibility, and transparency. The president and CEO of Crusoe stated that the facility converts electricity into intelligence, contributing to the company's national manufacturing footprint of approximately 1 million square feet.
