Gov. Abbott wants data center projects to share expectations of power consumption, water usage

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has ordered state regulators to audit data centers across the state. The audit will focus on the data centers' power consumption and water usage expectations. This action comes as data center projects account for a significant portion of ERCOT's active requests for power usage.
