Fryeburg sets Oct. 15 for data center moratorium vote

Fryeburg town officials have proactively enacted a six-month moratorium on data center development within the town. This measure aims to provide the town with time to establish appropriate regulations before potential projects advance.

For the moratorium to become legally binding, it must be approved by residents at a special town meeting. The vote on this measure is scheduled for October 15th.
