The Wall Street Journal had previously reported that other tech companies, including Anthropic and Microsoft, had also vied for this Ohio site. Concurrently, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is engaging in meetings in Washington D.C. this week, where he intends to preview the company's newest AI models and introduce the concept of "AI teams" to policymakers.
