Developer HHHunt has pivoted its development strategy in Hanover County, Virginia, near the Hunting Hawk Golf Club, after withdrawing plans for a substantial data center campus. The initial data center proposal, located off Ashland Road, faced "strong community opposition" leading to its abandonment earlier this year.
HHHunt is now pitching a 98-home residential neighborhood, to be named Verada, for the same site. The golf course itself is expected to remain operational. County leaders are anticipated to review the rezoning request for the proposed housing development in the coming week.
