EdgeConneX, a global data center provider, has filed new plans for two additional data centers valued at $600 million each, totaling $1.2 billion in investment. These facilities are slated for construction in Cedar Creek, located within Bastrop County, Texas, approximately 26 miles southeast of Austin.

The filings were made with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and indicate further expansion of EdgeConneX's presence in Central Texas. The company is already developing a significant data center campus spanning nearly 180 acres in Cedar Creek, with plans submitted in May for two other 730,000-square-foot data centers expected to commence construction in June.
