Lighthouse Sustainability and the Lansing Economic Area Partnership are exploring a potential $10 billion data center on 423 acres at 1375 College Road in Holt. The project could require 700 megawatts of power, but no formal application has been submitted and no end user has been identified.

Delhi Township officials said they learned of the proposal through a press release and the media, despite the township’s 12-month moratorium on data centers, which runs through April 2027. The township subsequently ended its membership with LEAP, and its board is scheduled to consider formally opposing data center development and urging the organizations to abandon the project. The developers say they will respect the moratorium and engage with the community.
